The Pune Gourmet Club is an agglomeration of food and wine enthusiasts who, in 2006, embarked upon an adventure to discover the wines of India and international cuisine.
The club neither charges any membership fees nor does it have a formal hierarchy. It does insist that members share cooking tasks according to their culinary skills. It’s open source technology as applied to food and wine. The club’s founder acts as a coordinator and organises the meets. Membership is open to Pune residents only.

Members of the club have incorporated Monsoon Winds Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. to undertake commercial activities in wine related businesses. The Company will organise wine festivals in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mahabaleshwar and Lonavala in 2009. We intend to start a chain of winebars, promote vineyard tours, sell exclusive and limited edition Indian wines under our own label and market wine preservation systems.
